First Look at the Redesigned Encore
Subcompact SUVs are one of the most popular vehicle classes in America thanks to their convenience, affordability, and value. The Buick Encore exemplifies all of these traits, while surpassing driver expectations for what a subcompact SUV can be. Since its debut in 2013, the Encore has been a fan favorite – and it’s easy to see why.
For the 2020 model year, Buick completely redesigned the Encore, which offers a lot of features and value in one subcompact vehicle. The redesign updated both the exterior of the Encore with modern, handsome styling, and the inside with a spacious yet cozy cabin. More features are available in the 2020 Encore
than ever, and it continues to impress with its lithe handling and high-quality interior materials.
Buick makes the 2020 Encore in four trim levels:
- Sport Touring
Even the base 1SV trim offers ample features with smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so your music, podcasts, or audiobooks will seamlessly play in your car. In the Preferred trim, you’ll gain the ability to equip your Encore with all-wheel drive as well as conveniences such as keyless entry and remote start. As you ascend into the upper trims, the Encore comes with even more safety features to help keep everyone in your car safe on the road. The top trim, the Essence, can be outfitted with a leather steering wheel, heated seats, leather upholstery, built-in navigation, a premium sound system, and more.
